star trek online is ready to welcome the first female captains of star trek on the consoles. Shadow Advance is available now on the PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game. This new content follows the game’s 12th anniversary festivities, which began last month for the PC.

The new update invites captains to join the Earth forces led by Marshall Janeway. Janeway was portrayed by Kate Mulgrew and featured in Star Trek: Voyager. Players are asked to help him kidnap a person of great importance from Jupiter station located in Federation space.

In addition to Marshall Janeway, players can also team up with two officers from the Mirror universe. This is Captain Killy (Mary Wiseman) from Star Trek: Discovery and Admiral Leeta (Chase Masterson) of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Shadow Advancein particular, follows the perspective of Prime Universe’s Admiral Janeway.

  • The Captains must assemble a team of five and stop the Earth Empire from stealing data from Jupiter Station.

  • Back by popular demand, the developers released the Omega Molecule Stabilization mission.

  • This one has players trying to stabilize the Omega molecules that Q has scattered throughout the galaxy.

  • By participating in this event as well as many episodes and TFOs associated with Mirror Universe, unlock this year’s anniversary ship, the T6 Jarok Alliance Carrier.

There are also a bunch of promotions going on in-game. Ferengi Merchants are once again offering a 15% discount on Keys, available from March 15 through March 21. If you’re one of those looking to stock up on keys, now’s the time.
