St. John’s Parish Schools Release Early Wednesday Ahead of Bad Weather – The Observer

St. John’s Parish Public Schools has announced that Central Office/Maintenance will close at 2:15 p.m. All SJBP extracurricular activities and the planned community forum at Emily C. Watkins are canceled.

Information regarding individual private/parochial schools will be compiled as it becomes available.
Riverside Academy
Due to the potential for severe weather, Riverside Academy will have an early dismissal on Wednesday, March 30. The time included for potential high winds is during the normal call-off time; an early departure will ensure that all students and staff return home safely. Lunch will be served. Kindergarten and kindergarten students will leave at 11:50 a.m., elementary students at 11:55 a.m. and middle and high school students at noon. All extracurricular activities are cancelled.
St. Charles Catholic
SCC will have an early release today, March 30, due to severe weather potential. The safety of our Comet family is of the utmost importance. Therefore, due to the extreme weather forecast during the holiday period, SCC will post early today, March 30, 2022 at 1:37 p.m. We will have shortened the afternoon classes.
There will be no extracurricular activities. All students must be collected from campus by 2:07 p.m. The building will be locked and there will be no after-school supervision. Your cooperation and understanding is appreciated.
